Having bought a standard Arai lid to meet the MSA karting regs my next job was to design a lid.
I knew I wanted something completly different to anyone else and I wanted it mainly black, due to having black gloves and suit and being called The Stealth.
I also wanted something a bit dark and sinister.
I went to John Grant Custom Paintwork.
My request was a black lid with the Grim Reaper riding a horse, I also wanted the No Fear eyes on the back and the words The Stealth.
Here is what he came up with.
I do understand this is not to everyones liking but I totally love it and its gets commented on all the time.
